Easter 2013

I was a little sad today, as we did not go to church - we have not attempted that task since the babies were born.  We did, however, celebrate Easter with family.  It was truly a blessed day.

The Easter Bunny brought their first sippy cups

I love that all of the kids are checking out the toys,
except WIlliam.  He is always up for a picture!

Bryan showing Savannah and William his new garden tools.

Our family!

The kiddos humored the adults, all they really wanted
to do was look for eggs!

All of the kids waiting for Aunt Laura to say go...

She forgot to move before giving the word!

Bryan couldn't wait to open them

Spring Break - Part 2

Four whole days to play with my boys!!!  I feel like I am constantly pulled in so many directions that I haven't really had all that much time to give my full attention to anyone lately.  It was great to have one on one time with each of the boys at different times throughout the days, and time watching them play together.  I can't wait until I get to do the same with the girls!! (Hint, hint Nana!! ;) )

Tuesday morning, both boys slept in a little - 8:00 for William and about 9:00 for Bryan.  They were worn out from the car ride on Monday!  As usual, both boys woke up with smiles ready for the day.

And what a great day it was... We decided that we wanted a PJ day, so that's just what we did!  PJs and playing all day long!!

Fireman Bryan - or as he later corrected himself,
Fireboy Bryan

Playing in the Boat

We grilled for dinner, so the boys got to swing.

Bryan took over the pushing

I'm pretty sure he was showing William how to dance!

First boys bath!  This is going to make my life much easier!

Wednesday morning we got up and out the door by 9:00 to go to Michael's and get some "projects" for Bryan and I to make that afternoon.  We went in to the store and Bryan asked, "Projects, where are you?"  With William in the seat and Bryan in the basket, we went around the store 3 times picking things out.  We found 2 Easter projects, some animals to make, and I also found lap trays on sale (I had been looking for some).  Bryan also saw sand buckets and kept asking for one, but I didn't give in for some reason.  We were heading to the check out, when that odd shade of purple appeared and Bryan started coughing.  Not 10 seconds later he threw up in the basket and it proceeded to drip thru (GROSS, I KNOW!!).  I went to the check out, where the nearest employee was, and as we round the corner, he did it again and again.  Poor thing!  We got paper towels and began cleaning up.  Bryan wanted to go home, but I felt the need to actually buy the projects since he had made such a mess!  We were going to run some other errands, but due to the "sickness" we went home to rest.

William used his new tray to try some Cheerios.  He sat
there eating and watching Mickey for a good 10 minutes.

After nap, it was train time.

Bryan made sure William had a train too.

I decided not to mess with the projects Wednesday, for fear Bryan might get sick!  Although, Trey and I are pretty sure it is car sickness from watching DVDs in the car.  I guess we will find out next trip!

Thursday morning, the boys got up and played for a little while in Bryan's tent that Aunt Katie gave him for his birthday.  Bryan loved running in and hiding from William, then having William crawl in after him!

We decided to go meet Trey for lunch, Bryan was so excited!  He picked hamburgers and french fries, so we went to Fuddruckers.  It was so much fun.  Bryan shared his french fries with William - don't judge, I only let him have one small soft bite!  Then we ran over to a different Michael's to grab a couple of more trays for the girls.  I only braved it because Trey came with us!  After our lunch, we went home for a three and a half hour nap!  It probably would have gone longer, but I woke the boys up at 4:30 so they would sleep that night!  Finally, it was project time!!  We got 3 projects done while William bounced and watched us.

Friday was another fun day with the boys. We got a few errands taken care of, but mostly played and enjoyed our last day without the girls - although Bryan had asked several times, "Where my girls?"
