From Three to Six: Weekend Full of Celebrations

2 birthdays and Father's Day = a very busy weekend!!

We started off Saturday with Aunt Katie and Cerah coming over for Cerah's birthday. We had a great lunch, while Trey stayed home with the babies. After lunch we went shopping for Cerah's birthday present. She is going to be starting dance, so I got to buy her leotards for the classes. I had so much fun picking things out with her!! We left with a pink leotard, pink skirt, pink tights, and a purple leotard with a sparkly purple tutu - shockingly, Cerah picked the pink and I picked the purple. She tried them on - but wouldn't let me take pictures. While we were picking things out, Bryan ran around the store with Aunt Katie in hot pursuit! With dance attire chosen, we headed back to the house to check on Trey and the babies, and to work on a little birthday craft (idea I found on Pinterest). Bryan and Cerah worked very hard on their paintings...

After Katie and Cerah left, Bryan and I were off to Skylar's birthday party. He had so much fun (I forgot my camera)!! Bryan moved from bike to bike, rode the scooter, ran and ran, and played in the sand table - I'm pretty sure he did not stop moving the entire time we were there. He also decided that he wanted to eat Skylar's cake - not a piece of cake, the whole cake! He got a piece, but that was not enough, he tried very hard to attack the big cake. He did get one handful, but he was finally convinced that one piece was enough. That night, Bryan spent the night with Noni and PaPa.

With Bryan away for the night, Trey and I decided to move Ruby, William, and Savannah into the nursery. I did not sleep at all on Friday night because of all of the little noises that three babies make just wiggling around, so we decided that it was time! They did great and I got a decent night sleep - not great, but better than usual.

Sunday was Father's Day - Trey got to sleep in until 11:00!! Then, we had a somewhat lazy start to the day before packing everyone up and heading to his mom's house to get Bryan and go swimming. After the swim lessons, I was a little worried that Bryan would scream when we got him in the pool - I was so wrong!! He loved splashing around with us and even showed off his swimming and floating skills. It was a great afternoon playing outside with Bryan.
